Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our
construction team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in
evaluating project costs, preparing bid proposals, and ensuring
that projects are completed within budget. This position is
essential in helping us secure contracts and deliver quality
projects on time. Key Responsibilities - Evaluate project plans and
specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates. - Prepare and
submit bid proposals to clients based on project requirements. -
Collaborate with project managers and contractors to gather
necessary information for estimating costs. - Conduct on-site
assessments to determine project requirements and gather data for
estimation. - Utilize software tools for takeoffs and estimating to
improve accuracy and efficiency. - Maintain organized records of
estimates, bids, and related documents. - Communicate with
suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure the best
value for clients. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in
Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. -
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry. -
Strong understanding of construction processes and materials. -
Proficiency in estimating software, including On Screen Takeoff. -
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. - Strong
communication and negotiation abilities. - Ability to work under
pressure and meet deadlines. - For this position, you must be
