Essential Duties and Responsibilities /n - Read work orders and follow production drawings or instructions /n - Assemble and secure parts using hand tools and fixtures /n - Perform intermediate tasks such as potting, sanding, or color coding /n - Inspect parts using basic testing methods /n - Handle and install finished assemblies into enclosures /n - Uphold Positronic's standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence. /n - Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator. /n - Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices. /n - Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards. /n - Comply with all company policies and procedures. /n - Perform other duties as assigned. /n /n Requirements Education and Experience /n - High School Diploma or equivalent /n - 1 to 3 months of experience or training OR /n - An equivalent combination of education and experience /n - Must pass appropriate testing to advance in the ABC program /n /n Physical /n - Frequent sitting, walking, and standing /n - Occasional bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching /n - Constant lifting of 0-20 lbs; occasional up to 40 lbs; rare up to 50 lbs /n - High level of hand and finger dexterity /n - Constant use of hands and arms for technical work /n - PPE includes safety glasses, nitrile and heat-resistant gloves as needed /n /n Working Conditions: Work is performed in production zone with frequent exposure to loud machines and nitrogen-based chemicals. Shift: Second shift (Tuesday-Friday 3:45pm-2:15am) Knowledge /n - Knowledge of English language rules, spelling, and grammar for reading instructions /n - Understanding of machines and tools used in basic assembly /n - Familiarity with production processes and quality standards /n /n Skills /n - Active listening and communication to follow detailed instructions /n - Attention to detail for consistent quality during repetitive tasks /n - Time management to stay on pace with production flow /n - Proficient in using hand tools and positioning small parts /n - Able to read and comprehend work orders and technical documents /n /n Abilities /n - Excellent hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity /n - Color vision and near-sight acuity for sorting accuracy /n - Ability to maintain focus during repetitive inspection tasks /n - Strong problem sensitivity and quick judgment /n /n POSITRONIC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY, INTERPRET, OR APPLY THIS JOB DESCRIPTION IN ANY WAY THE COMPANY DESIRES.
