beyond? The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in
Springdale, AR is looking for a 2nd shift Dimensional Inspector.
Days/hours are Monday - Friday; 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm. Pratt & Whitney
PSD provides the aviation industry with capabilities for
specialized repair of gas turbine engine cases and components. What
You Will Do: This position is responsible for processing and
inspecting a variety of engine cases to determine and verify
conformance to work specifications using prints, work instructions,
layouts, gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment. Performing
visual and dimensional inspection as part of receiving, in-process
and final inspections and reporting any discrepancies found during
the inspection process. Working with engineering specifications,
industry standards, repair manuals, and customer requirements.
Performing work using scribes, verniers, calipers, height gages,
depth gages, micrometers and indicators. Qualifications You Must
Have: Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or
vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum
of 1 year of relevant experience. Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience working with engineering specifications, industry
standards, repair manuals and customer requirements. Experience in
