You'll utilize your strategic insights consulting skills by integrating data sources and custom research to improve the customer value proposition for Walmart US. You and your team will deliver end-to-end analyses, identify action-driving insights, and build customer narratives that highlight ways to understand and improve our omni retail business for today and into the future.What you will do...Build the strategic learning agenda to improve the omni channel retail experience, integrating world-class customer research, data, and feedback tools coupled with your problem-solving prowess, and influencing skills. Create and execute the insights roadmap while collaborating with key stakeholders in the customer and marketing organization to achieve business goals.Distill large, complex data sources into meaningful narratives for others to understand and mobilize around through storytelling, simplification, and distilling insights into actionable recommendations.Lead an insights team around a common goal, keeping the customer at the center of decisions, while building scalable solutions to equip the organization and improve the business.Partner with technology/product teams to build customized, self-serve tools and dashboards to enable data accessibility and broader utilization.Be a champion for customer centricity bringing foresight to the organization through your drive for results, communication, and managerial courage.Create an inclusive environment that enables team members to be their best and improves the performance of the company.You'll make an impact by:Helping to build an agile knowledge estate and insights foundation that can be utilized and scaled across the organization.Driving customer centric strategies and experiences for today and into the future.Balancing short term milestones with a long-range strategic insight plan to achieve goals and rallying team together.Translating data/knowledge into insights, strategies, and actions for the cross functional partners, acting as a quarterback for the customer and marketing teams to drive fluencing, inspiring, and collaborating well with others (including peers along with direct reports) to align solutions and accomplish goals through data-informed tegrating data/insights sources to define clear actions for the team and measures of success as the work is implemented.You'll sweep us off our feet if...You have a proven background in implementing strategies/achieving results by using data, market research, and insights in a highly complex environment.You are exceptional in influencing multiple stakeholders while balancing priorities.You are passionate about insights/data and have worked in large organizations mapping stakeholders and ensuring adoption/onboarding of different recommendations.You have deep retail knowledge.You have 10+ years of experience in the Customer Insights/Shopper Insights or like space, preferably with a related college and/or advanced degree.You have 8+ years of demonstrated ability leading a team and a proven history of insights and analytical team leadership.You have experience building and executing strategic business results and processes within a large organization, including working with tech partners to deliver information solutions.You have excellent written, presentation and verbal communication up to the senior executive level and out to wide, diverse audiences.You have experience successfully navigating a highly matrixed organization while working closely with teams across segments of the company.You have strong applied knowledge of marketing research and customer insights, including survey research methods to understand and craft customer experiences, merchandising, segmentation, digital marketing, ecommerce or other business outcomes.Minimum Qualifications...Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position.
