Job Posting: Center Manager - PACE of the Ozarks Employment Type: Full Time Location: PACE of the Ozarks - Springdale, AR Department: PACE of the Ozarks Shift: Monday - Friday Days FTE: Job Number: JO-2201-44940 Date Posted: 1/5/2022 Categories: Ancillary/Professional POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the PACE Director, is responsible for day-to-day management and operations of the center and the coordination of care delivered to participants within PACE of the Ozarks. Monitors the quality of care and services being provided to the PACE participants. Ensures operational compliance with policies and procedures and Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) regulations and all governing state, federal licensing/contracting regulations. Directs, supervises and evaluates the performance of: Home health coordinator, Social Workers, Activities/Recreation Coordinator, Dietitian, Transportation Coordinator, nurse aides and other staff as assigned to ensure safe and effective care. This position has exposure to communicable disease and body fluids. Spends majority of time (80%) setting; frequent walking of short distances (20%). LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED 3 years supervisory management experience and working with elderly, preferably PACE experienceSPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED A minimum of 3 years experience in management or in an administrative capacity is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience working with the frail and elderly population. Must be medically cleared for communicable diseases and up to date with required immunizations before engaging in direct participant contact. Proven effective leadership and supervisory skills with ability to demonstrate a strong positive communication environment. Good working knowledge of interdisciplinary team approach to care and services with ability to effectively facilitate the team goals. Knowledgeable of concepts and practices of health and social service programs for the elderly to include in-home and community based. General familiarity with electronic health systems. Ability to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Work effectively and harmoniously with staff, public and private agencies, governmental officials and the elderly.
