SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager Trade Optimization will lead optimization of trade based on customer's go-to-market strategy (Hi-Lo, EDLP Hybrid). The right candidate will own the relationship and serves as a single point of contact for the field/BU. He/She will take active part in the implementation of a multi-year transformational roadmap in the development, optimization, and execution of Tyson Prepared Foods trade tools and strategy.

The candidate will lead change management process by educating sales team on new trade tools capabilities and procedures that take s into consideration the company's business objectives, brand equity and financial requirements. Her/She will d evelop scenarios and specific recommendations to optimize trade promotion guidelines, trade fund allocation s across sub-categories brands within a business unit and across customers channels and influence key stakeholders to optimize trade and maximize return s.

The candidate will work closely with pricing, sales, SS&P and BU to implement pricing strategies and compliance. He/She will generate insights and recommendations to maximize trade performance as well as minimize risk of revenue loss and present those findings to drive changes in promotional guidelines and customer plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Highly developed problem-solving skills with strong financial/P&L acumen
  • Proven ability to think conceptually while simultaneously understanding technical/analytic system details
  • Skilled in developing, communicating, and demonstrate effective leadership, and creating a positive team environment that team members seek out
  • Ability to lead through change, influence, and partner cross-functionally, and communicate effectively to articulate complexity concisely in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while working independently and in teams
  • Team member management and career/talent development

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred
    • 7 plus years of work experience in Sales Finance, Trade Analytics, Business Development, Category Management, Sales or Revenue Management.
    • COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, MS Word and PowerPoint Proficient in Syndicated Data usage mining gathering
    • Prior experience of people management
    • Travel: some travel required
