Sr. CDM directly responsible for managing the Tyson Foods Prepared, RVAP and IF retail businesses with our strategic growth customer Dollar General, Inc. This position is responsible for identifying business opportunities aligned with Tyson Foods and Dollar General. Position will implement Tyson's go-to market strategy at this customer. This position is responsible for developing and delivering actionable insights that are driven by customer centric and/or syndicated data. This position is responsible for collaborating with Business Units, Team Director, CPFR, Sales Strategy & Planning, Customer Service, Category Insights, Team Performance Manager, Innovation and Customer contacts to achieve agreed upon volume goals and metrics. This position will develop strategic plans utilizing business analytical tools and communicate accurate volume forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annually.

Additional responsibilities include:

Providing weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales analysis to the customer and Tyson Foods that are accurate and timely. This position will foster external relationships with leadership at the customer, data management and customer insights Team with the intent to better understand the business and to drive favorable results. This sales position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities associated with the continued development of Dollar General business with focus on the fundamentals: Product, Price, Promotion, Placement and Activation. This is a multi-dimensional position that requires in-depth analytics, business knowledge and systems use coupled with strong interpersonal skills, problem solving and the need to be extremely detail oriented.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver assigned AOP and Trade Fund budgets for Dollar General account. Make HQ calls on Dollar General merchant teams representing the Tyson Foods portfolio including Prepared, RVAP and IF. Oversee distributor organizations that supply Dollar General (pricing, forecasting, service levels, etc.). Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to achieve Tyson and Dollar General mutual goals as it pertains to the 4 P's (pricing strategies, custom innovation, promotional programs, category insights). Coordinate support needs with peer Dollar-Drug CDM's, that have similar needs/strategies. This includes things like assortment decisions, pricing, innovation, communication, direction, and forecasting. Lead and direct CPFR on critical business needs (TRACE plans, forecasting, etc.). Lead and direct Customer Category Mgr. on category selling stories and support needed to drive sales and capitalize on opportunities, including critical annual line reviews. Lead and direct the dedicated Innovation Team in collaboration with Dollar General to develop custom items and pack sizes.

Requirements:

• Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree required
• Experience: 7+ years of related experience required, including direct customer experience.
• Computer Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Communication Skills: High level of written and oral communication
• Special Skills: knowledge of food production, ingredients, and packaging a plus
• Supervisory: No direct reports but significant organizational influence
• Travel: 6-10 trips/year Location:
