Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its "Top 100 Places to Work."Overview:A Registered Respiratory Therapist's (RRT's) duties will include setting up and operating devices such as therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators, providing emergency care, such as external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, or assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and maintaining charts that contain patient identification and therapy information. Works in accordance to the mission, vision, and values of Mercy. -A degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited program or college, RCP license in the state of Oklahoma, and National Registry designation by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) are required for consideration. Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation and experience with respiratory equipment are the keys to success in this role -Qualifications:Education: Graduate from an approved AMA Respiratory Program. Licensure: Must hold current Arkansas State Respiratory Care License.Certifications: Active Basic Life Support, Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
