Shift - Tues/Thurs, 10 am - 2 pm Immediate start after hire Caregiver Benefits:+ $12/hr, with paid training opportunities + Flexible scheduling options + AFLAC (Accident/Illness/Short Term Disability) plans available, after 90 days of employment + Organized and supportive leadership, providing timely feedback + Meaningful work responsibilities, which take place in a one-on-one care environment Caregiver Responsibilities:+ Provide non-medical support and companionship to senior clients + Assist with Personal Care; including bathing, dressing, and grooming + Accompany clients on personal errands, outings, or doctor's appointments + Oversee medication schedule and issue reminders + Conduct light housekeeping tasks, grocery shopping, and meal preparation+ Supervise mobility of the client by assisting with walking and other related physical activities + Provide transportation for personal errands, such as doctor's appointments Job Requirements:+ High School Diploma/GED required+ Must have current Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance+ Working cell phone required, to ensure open staff and client communication + Available to work 12 hour day shifts + Minimum of 2 years of caregiver experience preferred+ Ability to pass state/nationwide background check, state fingerprinting, and drug screen About Visiting Angels of Joplin, MOVisiting Angels strives to provide the best quality non-medical home care support to our senior clients.
