Job Description:

Do you have an interest in evaluating assigned patients and plans and implementing and documenting nursing care? If so, consider joining our team as a RN Post-Op/Med-Surg - Day Shift.
Key responsibilities for this role include:

• 
  
• Evaluating assigned patients and plans
  
• Implementing and documenting nursing care
  
• Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures
  
• Performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
  
• Promoting patients' independence by establishing patient care goals
  
• Helping patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
  
• Relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  
• Reporting to the head of the med/surg unit

  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks
    
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude
    
  • Associate's degree -
    
  • RN Certification
    
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the med/surg unit
