  • Job Details
  • Travel RN- ACU/Stepdown position providing care in a PCU/Telemetry setting.
  • Responsible for patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe care.
  • Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Delegates patient care priorities and supervises assigned personnel.
    • Job Requirements
    • ACLS certification required.
    • BLS certification required.
    • PALS certification required.
    • Minimum 2 years of stepdown experience.
    • Must be greater than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.
      • Schedule Information
      • Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
      • Every other weekend required (Friday, Saturday OR Sunday).
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Assigned to PCU/Telemetry unit with acuity-based patient ratio of 1:2/3.
        • Equipment used includes Impella, balloon pumps, and CV surgeries (assigned to core staff).
        • Scrub color: Gray.
