Job Description:
Pharmacy Technician | Responsibilities: Fill prescriptions and
prepare IVs under the direct supervision of a Registered
Pharmacist. Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data
into computer systems for prescription fulfillment and
reimbursement. Assist in prepackaging medication for dispensing
according to standards and regulations. Aid in the final checking
of filled prescriptions, including stating medications for RPh
review and/or packaging post-RPh review. Coordinate the accurate
and timely delivery of medications to customers. Assist Pharmacy
Management with inventory control, including receiving, rotating,
and maintaining accurate records of medications and supplies. Post
lot numbers and expiration dates, and assist with physical
inventory. Work with the Technician Supervisor to maintain a clean
and safe work environment. Check equipment for calibration, safety,
and cleanliness.
