Psychiatric Unit Position Overview HumanEdge is seeking a skilled
Travel Behavioral Health RN for a hospital in Springdale, Arkansas.
The RN will provide direct care to adult psychiatric patients,
utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse
Practice Act and hospital policies. This role emphasizes critical
thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership to ensure safe,
high-quality patient care. Responsibilities - Provide direct
patient care to adult psychiatric patients, including assessments,
medication administration, and therapeutic interventions - Utilize
critical thinking and clinical judgment to anticipate and plan for
safe delivery of care - Delegate patient care responsibilities
according to staff education and experience - Provide supervision
and direction to assigned personnel delivering patient care -
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education -
Document care accurately and in compliance with hospital policies
Requirements - Active AR RN license or compact/multistate license –
Required - BLS (AHA) – Required - Minimum 1 year Behavioral Health
RN experience – Required - CPI/SAMA training – Preferred; facility
training available if needed - Strong leadership, communication,
and critical thinking skills - Ability to work every other weekend
