Utilizing the nursing process, you will deliver patient care under the guidance of licensed professionals authorized by a State regulatory board to prescribe treatments and medications, or under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). You will maintain accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients and coordinate with various departments to ensure comprehensive patient care. Position Overview: Location: Our Hospital and Nearby Communities Department: GIG Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flexible/Float Shift: Varies JoinOurNursingTeam Incentives: $30/hour Base Pay Incentives for Variable Shifts W-2 Employment Status Minimum of 1 shift every 90 days Options for 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts Work When and Where You Prefer! Position Summary Are you looking for a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse role with incentives? You can choose between day or night shifts based on your preference! There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or specific shift requirements. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program entails a commitment to scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and being adaptable to last-minute shift cancellations. Please note that the Gig Nursing Program does not guarantee shift hours and will be prioritized for cancellations. Departments Seeking GIG LPNs: Medical-Surgical (MS): Nights and/or Weekends Facilities/Locations: Our Hospital and Nearby Communities Community Hospitals: Berryville Qualifications: Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED. Licensure: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program; equivalent educational experience and successful licensure will also be considered. You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license in the state where you perform nursing duties, adhering to all State Board of Nursing regulations. Experience: At least one year of recent bedside LPN experience is required for Med-Surg roles. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic software. Certifications: For Med-Surg (MS) - BLS certification required. IV certification is mandatory. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for most of the shift; significant bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and turn patients with assistance are necessary; must be able to push, pull, or grip up to 50 pounds.
