(Non-Exempt) Overview: The Registered Respiratory Therapist
delivers direct respiratory care to patients in accordance with
physician directives and collaborates with healthcare professionals
to assess the effectiveness of therapies. Candidates must possess
an RRT credential and comply with state licensing regulations,
emphasizing skills in respiratory equipment and emergency care. Our

This role involves providing direct patient care across all facets
of respiratory therapy, following physician orders. The therapist
will also consult with physicians regarding the efficacy of
treatments and serve as an advanced resource for both physicians
and nursing staff concerning respiratory care. Additional
responsibilities will be assigned as needed. Position Details:
Qualifications: Education: Completion of a Respiratory Care program
accredited by CoArc. Licensure: Must meet state licensing criteria
and hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
Experience: No prior experience required. Certifications: Must
possess the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from
the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For those working
in the Emergency Room, PALS certification is necessary. Physical
Demands: Responsibilities include pushing, pulling, and gripping up
to 50 lbs, as well as pinching up to 10 lbs. Minimal kneeling,
crouching, and crawling may be required. Equipment Used: All
relevant respiratory care devices. Preferred Education: Acute
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Preferred Licensure: N/A
Preferred Experience: Critical care experience is advantageous.
