Ultrasound Tech Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,578 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist Profession: Clinical Professional Specialty: Cardiac Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3-12's Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Six months of related experience License: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Adult Echocardiography; Epic; Previous Traveler Experience Description: Responsible for diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound. Provides the cardiologist with measurements and accurate images of cardiac structures. Facilitates accurate diagnoses through diagnostic imaging. Provides immediate feedback with preliminary reports of critical results to nursing staff and physicians. Assists with complex procedures in various settings including the OR, Hybrid lab, and Cath lab. Involves procedures such as TAVR, SAVR, Tandem heart, and pseudoaneurysm compression. Demonstrates correct technique and judgment in advanced cardiac and/or peripheral vascular procedures. Performs adult and/or pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures. Operates necessary equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic recordings. Exercises appropriate judgment in notifying physicians of abnormal results. Maintains proper documentation of data according to policy requirements. Documents all procedures accurately in the departmental tracking process. Processes charging and other data efficiently and accurately. Collaborates in maintaining departmental efficiency. Anticipates needs in equipment and supplies. Contributes to cost containment efforts. Schedules patients efficiently. Participates in quality assurance and educational activities. Maintains current competency and registry in specialty practices. Engages in personal and professional development initiatives. Complies with mandatory education standards. Participates in departmental quality assurance processes. Adjusts behavior to meet evolving departmental goals. Adheres to hospital policies and maintains a clean environment.
