Job Description:
The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, in Fayetteville,
AR, is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist – Physician . Ideal
candidate is Board Eligible/Certified in Psychiatry We are fully
committed to providing top quality medical care by serving and
honoring America’s Veterans. Candidates must possess an MD/DO from
an accredited institution, have completed residency training
leading to board eligibility/certification, and possess an active,
current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State. Highlights of this
opportunity: Potential starting base salary range: $ 250-$315K
Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Assessment/evaluation
and medication management of veterans who suffer from a variety of
mental health conditions, including, but not limited to Post
traumatic Stress Disorder, substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety
disorders, psychosis, and other related conditions. Educate staff
hospital wide about psychiatric needs of patients; how to handle;
what to expect; etc Work with families of patients receiving
psychiatric care VA offers an exceptional benefits package for
