Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Springfield, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,942 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Springfield, Missouri, 65804! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA, TNCC, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) Must-Have: 1 year Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma facility. Description: This position is an auto-offer. The Emergency Department has a total of 68 beds. Patient ratios are typically 4:1 but may vary due to surge circumstances. This is a busy urban trauma center. The role includes direct patient care activities for all age groups. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The nurse will coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize comfort. Must maintain professional accountability for patient care provision. Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality of patient information are upheld. Utilize the nursing process to provide care. Demonstrate skill in human relations and effective communication. Clinical expertise in the area of responsibility is required. Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time. Must be able to lift and push patients in stretchers and wheelchairs. The working environment is clean and air-conditioned.
