Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift position requiring an active AR or compact RN license and recent NICU experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is based in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00 - 13-week contract assignment - Blocked scheduling may be permitted based on facility needs - Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the assignment - Local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be considered with specific contract limitations - Staff living within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at a local facility and must separate for 1 year or transition to a different facility afterward /n /n Requirements/n - Active AR or compact RN license required at the time of consideration - Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience required - At least 2 years overall nursing experience preferred - No gaps in employment of 90 days or more in the past 12 months - No expiring certifications within the first 30 days of the assignment, unless proof of renewal is provided - Valid U.S. Social Security Number required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-671202.
