Job Title CHS Travel: Infection Preventionalist City/State: Springdale, Arkansas Shift: 08:00-17:00, M-F Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 03/02/2026 Job Description: The Infection Preventionalist will work on tasks related to COVID-19 data management, patient isolation protocols, review of clinical cultures, and infectious disease reporting. The role also requires engagement with staff to address infection control issues and the analysis of infection data using various reporting platforms. Responsibilities: Update COVID inpatient lists and manage CHS trackers. Review and respond to COVID vaccine data and report into NHSN. Conduct rounds and phone calls for isolation orders using Cerner and teletracking. Engage in interfacility reporting and infection follow-up. Participate in monthly infection control and patient safety committee meetings. Ensure QAPI data is entered and manage antibiotic stewardship and employee vaccination numbers.
