Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. This role requires managing patient recovery from anesthesia, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and supporting pain management and healing. Monitor patient vital signs and levels of consciousness post-anesthesia Administer prescribed medications, fluids, and treatments accurately Assess post-operative patients for complications and coordinate with surgical teams Educate patients and their families on post-surgery care and expectations Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards and protocols Strong observational skills for signs of pain or complications Ability to operate PACU equipment such as monitors and IV pumps Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in applying pain management techniques Ability to handle stress and effectively multitask in a high-pressure environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification preferred
