River Valley Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Lead Certified Veterinary Technician! As Lead Veterinary Technician, you will provide guidance and oversight to our team of Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants, while continuing to perform hands-on technical duties. Leadership responsibilities include: Delegating tasks to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care. Monitoring daily operations to maintain safety and uphold medical standards. Providing training, mentorship, and ongoing support to help team members grow and succeed. This position is ideal for technicians with high emotional intelligence, a talent for building positive team culture, and excellent multitasking and time management skills. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule - you will have the option to work a 4/10 or 5/8 schedule and rotating Saturday availability is required. Full-time benefits and compensation: Compensation: $22-$25 per hour, for each hour worked* Bonus package: $2000 CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k options Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Uniform Allowance Minimum qualifications and skill set: 5 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Arkansas Proficiency in the following skills: Anesthesia induction and monitoring Dental prophy and radiographs Venipuncture and IV catheter placement Microscopic evaluation Client communication and education River Valley Animal Hospital in Barling, Arkansas, boasts a dynamic team including 4 dedicated veterinarians and 2 credentialed technicians - including a VTS in dentistry .
