Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Fort Smith, AR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,948 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Current Arkansas Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with post-CV surgeries Titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol) Bipaps and utilizing Airvos Ability to recognize a deteriorating patient Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in step down care. The nurse will work a night shift from 19:00 to 07:00. A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required. The nurse must hold current licensure in Arkansas and relevant certifications. Experience with post-cardiovascular surgeries is necessary for this role. The nurse will be responsible for managing and titrating cardiac drips. This includes medications such as Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, and Esmolol. The role also involves the use of Bipap machines and Airvos. A critical skill is the ability to recognize signs of patient deterioration. The work environment promotes compassionate care and exceptional service.
