to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Springfield, Missouri, 65804!
Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1
year in telemetry License: Current RN License eligible for
licensure in the state Certifications: BLS from AHA, Trauma credits
(4 trauma credits or must be completed within the first two weeks),
NIHSS (required prior to start) Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1 year
telemetry experience, inpatient only. Experience and competence in
drug titration. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to
provide patient care. Performs direct patient care activities for
all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and
evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with
ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent
with established guidelines of nursing practice. Maintains
professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other
direct care givers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with
other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of
patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a
manner consistent with the organization's mission, values, and
service standards. Meets unit-specific physical demands, including
standing and walking most of the time on duty. Significant bending,
stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance may be
required. May be required to work differing schedules or shifts
according to patient care requirements. Possesses high-risk
exposure to blood and body fluids. Physical demands include
pushing, pulling, gripping up to 50 lbs., pinching up to 15 lbs.,
kneeling, crouching, and crawling minimally. Maintains professional
accountability for the provision of patient care for those
post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities. 5
