Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,780 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74104! Job Title: RN Telemetry I Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Experience in telemetry nursing Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Will be required to work "up to" 6 weekend shifts and holidays as needed to fulfill the needs of the department. This is a 28-bed cardiac telemetry unit, caring for all cardiac needs including post-operative care. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-6. Supported by Patient Care Technicians and a Healthcare Unit Coordinator. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring is available as well as monitor technicians to oversee telemetry patients.
