Job Description:
Lifeteam is seeking a skilled and dedicated AEL Helicopter Pilot
to join our emergency medical services team. This role is pivotal
in performing emergency medical evacuations and patient transfers
requiring aerial transportation. The pilot will be responsible for
operating the aircraft with the utmost safety, coordinating closely
with healthcare providers and support staff, and maintaining strict
compliance with all federal aviation regulations and company
policies. Additionally, the pilot will play an integral role in
ensuring rapid response times and contributing to our mission of
delivering exceptional critical care. Operate the helicopter in a
safe and efficient manner, adhering to all federal aviation
guidelines and company policies. Coordinate with medical and ground
teams to execute emergency medical missions effectively. Conduct
pre-flight and post-flight inspections and perform routine
maintenance checks to ensure the helicopter is in top condition.
Participate in ongoing training and certifications to maintain and
enhance aviation and emergency response skills. Document all flight
plans, records, and maintenance logs accurately and timely. Support
the healthcare team in patient management and care during flights
as needed. Proficient in aviation operations and navigation
Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to make
quick decisions in high-pressure environments Strong attention to
detail and problem-solving skills Physical fitness and ability to
handle the demands of flying Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k FAA Commercial Pilot License Instrument
rating certification Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS)
pilot training (preferred) Current Class I Medical Certificate
