We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a hospital in Springfield, MO. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Active Missouri COTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Required experience: inpatient rehabilitation and/or acute care experience. This is client-specific and required. Experience working with patients recovering from stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, amputations, or complex orthopedic injuries preferred. Familiarity with common inpatient rehab equipment such as patient lifts, specialized beds, and gait training devices preferred. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital (Inpatient Rehabilitation). Shift: Days. Shift hours: 08:00–16:30. Assignment requires inpatient rehabilitation setting skills and may include work on dedicated stroke or brain-injury units.
