Claremore offers a welcoming community, scenic parks, historic sites, and local culture — an excellent location for travel nurses and ER RNs seeking Oklahoma travel nursing opportunities./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910 - $2010/n - Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) / Emergency Department RN/n - Location: Claremore, OK (Zip: 74017) — Oklahoma travel nurse position/n - Setting: Level 3 Emergency Room / Acute Care ED/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)/n - Shift: 12-hour nights (7:30 PM – 8:00 AM), 3 shifts per week — night shift ER nurse/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Contract/n /n/nJob Requirements / Qualifications/n /n - Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience or Emergency Department RN experience/n - Active Board of Nursing-approved Oklahoma RN license or Compact/Multi-State RN license/n - Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC/n - Comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients in a busy ED/n - Experience with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and Vapotherm oxygen delivery systems/n - Skilled in managing critical medications and drips (infusions, vasopressors)/n - Basic stroke patient care and recognition of acute neurologic deficits/n - Ability to perform under pressure, multitask in a fast-paced emergency setting, and prioritize care/n - Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective interdisciplinary collaboration/n - Must meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (background check, drug screen, immunizations, etc.)/n - Ability to meet physical demands: stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift up to 50 lbs/n /n/nResponsibilities / Emergency Department Duties/n /n - Rapidly assess patients' clinical conditions, perform triage, and prioritize care in the emergency department/n - Recognize and interpret critical situations; initiate immediate, evidence-based interventions when physicians are not immediately available/n - Provide patient stabilization, airway management, and advanced emergency nursing procedures as indicated/n - Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot general and specialized ED equipment (monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps)/n - Administer prescribed therapeutic measures, medications, IV therapy, and emergency drips according to protocols/n - Document assessments, nursing interventions, and patient responses clearly and promptly in the medical record/n - Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other clinical disciplines/n - Plan, implement, and evaluate care delivery; ensure continuity of care and accurate handoffs for shift changes/n - Assist with unit upkeep, maintain supplies and equipment, and promote a safe environment for patients and staff/n /n/n Apply now to join our Claremore emergency department team as a Travel ER Registered Nurse (ER RN).
