Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America)This Corporate Accounting position in the Payroll area is responsible for administration of the Relocation process, evaluation/creation/review of Relocation policies, communications with Tyson management across the organization, reviewing invoicing with appropriate expense charges and managing the day to day relationship with the companys 3rd party Relocation processer. This position will work directly with Team Members in various stages of the relocation process, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Accounting and Managers across the organization. This position also works with payroll, relocation and tax related aspects of those in the Ex-Pat program. This position will also be responsible for serving as the owner, backup and/or reviewer for several Payroll and Payroll Accounting functions, including but not limited to accrual processing for Bonus, Severance, various time-off programs, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, processing reports, running/reviewing weekly processes, reviewing payroll account related balances. Supporting miscellaneous other duties in the Payroll department will also be required and will include work on special projects, review of payroll related contracts, M&A integration activity, system testing, continuous improvement projects, as well as other duties as the need arises.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelors degree in an academic field directly related and essential to this job (Accounting or Finance degree preferred). Experience: 5 + years of related experience preferred.Computer Skills: Working knowledge of SAP and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook is required. PowerPoint skills are preferred but not required. Complex spreadsheets and formulas are used to generate accruals, JEs, generate reports, generate payments and/or analyze data from both internal and external sources. 3rd party vendor systems will also be used daily. Communication Skills: Strong written, presentation and verbal communications skills required. Direct one-on-one communications with TEAM Members, all levels of Management and outside vendors will be required on a daily basis. Special skills: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required. Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) preferred but not required. Ability to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, research, compare and benchmark best practices to recommending policy changes, research and understand accounting, payroll and tax regulations as related to Relocation, Payroll and Ex-Pat programs. Must be able to have positive interaction with Team Members at all levels, able to explain policy benefits as well as explain policy limits. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position currently directly supervises one clerical position in Springdale with influence over several other positions in the department.Travel: 4 to 6 domestic trips per year.Relocation: NoWhen completing a Tyson Foods employment application, be sure to complete all tasks listed on the candidate home page.
