We're looking for an engineer who will be responsible for development of low-level device drivers and kernel development for Linux and Android operating systems. As a Software Engineer III, you will be responsible for providing recommendations based off of experience(s) working with the Android framework and the Linux kernel; must be capable of working on bootloader, AOSP, and device drivers; customize the AOSP to meet requirements; collaborates in team meetings, design reviews, and code reviews providing value through participation; provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems related to the role with sound problem-solving techniques/best-practices; works in an agile development environment; serves as a mentor to less experienced engineers; evaluate new options of similar technology, offer suggestions to improve processes, and provide feedback on hardware aspects to accommodate Linux/AOSP requirements.
