Job Description:
Role: Scala Developer Location: Remote Duration: 6 months
Contract Project Details --- Size, Scale, Scope? The application is
financial --- every day finances what Client undergoes. Each store
reports their finances to them. They use Kafka because they---re
communicating with each other. Base language is Scala. They---re
using light bend technology called Akka --- they need Akka here.
API development --- they use play framework in the light bend
family and written in Scala. Cassandra and CosmosDB and they use
Azure cloud for deployments. Azure --- need to know CI/CD. Docker
and Kubernetes knowledge is needed. Akka need streams, clusters,
What are the top must-have technologies/required experience for the
position? 1. Scala 2. Kafka 3. Akka 4. Cloud (they use Azure which
is preferrable) 5. Knowledge of CosmosDB
