Job Description:
Description Part-Time Position. We operate on a 4-day work week,
Monday - Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm. Position Profile: As an Equipment
Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing,
troubleshooting, and repairing small electronic equipment used in a
dental laboratory environment. Your role is essential to ensuring
the reliability and accuracy of the tools and devices the lab
depends on each day. You will also perform light facility
maintenance tasks as needed to support smooth operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None Job Duties and Accountabilities:
Equipment Repair Technician: Dental Lab Electronic Equipment Repair
Diagnose, repair, and maintain small electronic dental lab
equipment, including Handpieces, Vibrators, mixers, and curing
lights, Digital scanners and small motors, Polishing units and
specialty lab devices Perform routine calibration, testing, and
preventive maintenance. Maintain clear and accurate service
records, logs, and parts inventory. Coordinate with vendors or
manufacturers for warranty and specialized repairs. Ensure all
repaired equipment meets operational and safety standards.
Technical Support Assist lab staff with equipment setup and
troubleshooting. Provide guidance on proper equipment care and
basic maintenance. Support installation or configuration of small
equipment and tools. General Facility Maintenance (as needed)
Complete minor electrical, plumbing, or carpentry tasks within the
lab. Help with equipment relocation, workspace adjustments, and
setup. Respond to small maintenance requests to support safety and
workflow Other duties as assigned. Workplace Expectations: Safety

Qualifications: Understanding of basic electronics, diagnostics,
and repair tools Ability to read and follow technical manuals and
schematics Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
Experience in a dental laboratory, biomedical repair, or related
field Technical training or certification in electronics repair
Familiarity with dental lab equipment and workflows Working
knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices Strong
troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize
tasks and work independently Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and the ability
to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Excellent
attention to detail Ability to adapt to changing priorities and
handle unexpected challenges efficiently Experience/Skills: High
school diploma or equivalent Experience repairing small electronic
or mechanical equipment Required to engage with colleagues in a
professional and courteous manner Physical and Safety Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Stand or sit for long periods of
time Repetitive motion: Movements frequently and regularly required
using the wrists, hands, or fingers Ability to convey information
to various stakeholders with clarity and effectiveness
