Job Description:

A Service Advisor will be responsible for performing the customer service duties in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all company programs, policies and procedures, ensuring proper customer education and follow thru on customer maintenance and repairs.MFA Petroleum Company is an Equal Opportunity/Drug-Free Employer.Consistently and courteously greet and thank each customer and provide fast and friendly customer service Promote sales through explaining benefits of service and products to customersPerform vehicle inspections and print vehicle owner’s manual maintenance requirements and prioritize and promote needed products and services with customers and managementPerform all necessary sales duties per company policy and procedure including, but not limited to: proper pricing, knowledge and implementation of promotions and sales, suggestive selling, proper vendor check-in, stocking merchandiseExecute all company programs, policies, and proceduresAttend weekly store meetings to review safety issues, store policies, procedures, and product information changes as requiredMonitor customer service area and host waiting customersAssist in consistent opening and closing of location based on store hours of operationAssist Store Manager in all functions of inventory control including month end physical inventoryAssist in the completion of any necessary reports including the tracking and monitoring of daily sales and gross profitAssist management with the organizing, documenting, and processing of all adjustmentsAssist with merchandising, advertising, and promotions to effectively market productAttend weekly store meetings to review safety issues, store policies, procedures, and product information changes as requiredPrepare necessary sales documentation such as warranties, service agreements, and the recording and registration of tire salesConduct efficient and accurate sales transactionsNotify supervisor of any sales, cash or operating discrepanciesManage ticket average and profitability, and assist store manager in meeting company expectationsMaintain the appearance of the facilities and protect the assets of the companyBuild effective relationships with customers and store staff and motivate employees to deliver positive customer experiences to the customersEnsure equipment maintenance schedules are maintainedHandle complaints courteously and efficiently per company policyMaintain a clean environment, using company guidelines Maintain internal and external store appearance to comply with Big O Tires standardsUtilize and perform all duties on the company checklists to meet consistent adherence to policies, procedures and expectationsAdhere to all local, state and federal regulations concerning all facets of job responsibilities and duties, and store operationsFollow posted work schedule and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours workedMaintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, vendors and customersKeep supervisor informed of any maintenance problems and/or any issues that need attentionAssist in the proper training of new employees as neededClean facilities, tools and equipment; and stock shelvesComplete all required training in a timely mannerOther duties as assigned18 years of age or olderAvailability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as neededReliable transportation to workAbility to learn new concepts and use technical materialsAbility to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machineryCapability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehiclesAbility to exchange accurate information with customersWillingness to work with hazardous materialsAbility to consistently work in outdoor weather conditionsWillingness to comply with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulationsVision, hearing, speech, and the ability to detect odors is essentialAbility to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or driving) for up to nine hours per shiftAbility to move and position self to move and retrieve product and supplies from shelves, under counters, or stacks of inventory weighing 75 pounds Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background checkLegal authorization to work in the United States of AmericaHigh school diploma or GED equivalentOne year or more of experience in an automotive shop environment Valid driver’s license Readiness to work both independently and in a team environment Capability to work at a fast paceStrong verbal communication skillsSales abilities Enthusiastic personalityStaminaAbility to prioritize and plan work activities using time efficientlyManagement of multiple tasks and projectsAbility to perform detail work with accuracy
