Sales Support Representative

We are seeking a full time Sales Support Specialist to work onsite in our Joplin Missouri office. 

The role of the Sales Support Specialist at Stronghold Data will support the Director of Sales and sales team efforts with qualifying leads, lead nurturing/follow-up, and general sales strategy coordination.  This includes managing the local sales pipeline, building foundational processes for follow-up efforts, and supporting sales goals in a KPI driven environment.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review all web form submissions to determine lead viability
  • Review incoming sales channels & feeds to filter/respond quickly
  • RFP source monitoring and response, including the research of Council Agendas/Minutes as needed
  • Follow-ups and confirmations for sales appointments
  • Drafting and sending thank you cards for referrals and key prospect events
  • Delivery of information in preparation to or after sales meetings
  • Coordinate prospect meetings across multiple calendars both internal and external
  • Support the management of HubSpot activity including regular updates
  • Qualifying leads that come from multiple sources prior to Sales Team outreach
  • Set appointments for Director of Sales
  • Track and monitor sales team performance
  • Prospecting/Lead Generation support efforts related to:
    • Build lists using Zoominfo and other sources
    • Cold calls
    • Canvasing (walk in visits)
    • Events (live, webinar)
    • LinkedIn reach outs
  • Support Account Management efforts including:
    • Periodic client outreach
    • Set appointments for quality checks ins and account status reviews on behalf of Sales staff
    • Preparing business and stakeholder reports
    • Prepare and review client satisfaction reports
    • Keep record of client transactions
  • Identify areas of opportunity for sales practices and suggest practice improvements
  • Other tasks as directed by management

 

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Communications preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in outbound sales experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of CRM software and data analysis required, HubSpot preferred
  • Knowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniques
  • Ability to interpret sales metrics and perform data entry
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments with critical deadlines

 

Additional Details 

  • Local talent to the Joplin area only, no remote talent will be considered for this role 
  • Base + bonus earnings 
  • Full Time position, M-F 40 hours per week 
  • Some occasional local travel required
