"Enrollment Coordinator" is a full-time role for an organized, compassionate, discerning Christian individual. At Cookson Hills, the Enrollment Coordinator provides efficient and quality services to families in crisis, from their first call to student enrollment or outside referral. The ideal candidate must be able to handle administrative responsibilities, clearly communicate with families and co-workers, and share difficult news when enrollment at Cookson Hills is not appropriate. The Enrollment Coordinator ensures the best fit for students enrolled at Cookson Hills.
Minimum Qualifications: The qualifications listed below are required in order for an applicant to be considered for the role of Enrollment Coordinator.
Education and /or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of administrative and social service experience preferred.
Residence: Living on campus or living nearby is required for this role in order to perform required on-call duties (see below). If residing on campus, the employee may have no more than 4 children living in the home.
Faith Beliefs: Demonstrate Christian faith and practice, agreeing with and abiding by the Cookson Hills Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Agreement provided on the employment application.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Internet software, specifically the Google Apps suite including Docs, Sheets, and Calendar, etc. Ability to efficiently utilize email as a reliable form of communication.
Driving Skills: Valid driver's license in good standing with willingness and ability to transport and give tours to potential students and their families.
Work Environment: The majority of the Enrollment Coordinator's time is in an office; work environment is representative of what an employee typically encounters while performing the essential functions of this job; with occasional out-of-office meetings and interactions with families and children while giving campus tours or assisting with other departmental duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and other duties as assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Enrollment Process: The Enrollment Coordinator is the first point of contact a family will have when they reach out to get help from Cookson Hills. This includes fielding phone calls, emails, and enrollment application forms. The Enrollment Coordinator gathers all necessary information and paperwork for potential students. S/He conducts phone interviews and collaborate with the Director of CFS to assess each student's fit for enrollment.
Enrollment Criteria & Referral List: The Enrollment Coordinator adheres to the Cookson Hills student enrollment criteria and maintains an up-to-date referral list for students and families who are beyond the scope of the Cookson Hills ministry.
CFS Department Teamwork: The Enrollment Coordinator works closely with the social workers and the Director of CFS to set up student and family interviews. Administrative departmental tasks may include creating and maintaining student counseling schedules, calendaring Plan of Care meetings, assisting social workers with scheduling custodial family visits, and assisting with the distribution of departmental communications to custodial families.
Record Keeping: The Enrollment Coordinator maintains confidential files for each student from initial contact until a decision has been reached to enroll or refer to another organization.
On-Call Duties: -The Enrollment Coordinator serves as the CFS on-call point of contact 1 weekend a month.

Cash Compensation: Paycheck reflecting wage/hours worked is paid on a bi-weekly basis. Overtime will be paid for on-call work.

Paid Holidays: Enrollment Coordinator is paid for 10 holidays throughout the calendar year.
