other FridayHours: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am STARTING RATE: $15.45, plus
additional shift differentials for evening; nights and weekends.

Summary:The main objective of this position is to monitor the
facility during the evening hours for alarms and unusual activities
such as fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry, etc. This position
is also responsible for performing duties such as hatchery
washdown, wash bay cleanup, incinerator loading/maintenance,
chicken house walk through/monitor, and supply organization and
inventory. Other duties may also be assigned as needed. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors buildings and surrounding grounds to determine that
they are secure. Sounds alarm or call police or fire department by
telephone in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.

- Reports power failures, storm damage, and property damage,
malfunctioning of machinery or equipment, and other unusual
occurrences immediately to management personnel. Starts and/or
monitors operation of generators during power failures. (5%)
- Monitors all houses for proper ventilation, curtain position,
and temperature control; watches for and reports irregularities
such as fire hazards, leaking water lines, and security doors left
unlocked. (50%)
- Monitors and operates farm incinerators to insure disposed
birds are burned properly each day, turning feeders on/off and
raising water lines in Brooding. Other duties, responsibilities,
and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or
without notice. (10%)
- Performs janitorial and laundry duties, maintains foot pans and
hand sanitizer. (10%)
- Dispense formaldehyde per schedule. (10%)
- Manually records temperatures and humidity readings and assist
with egg sets. (10%)

job.Biosecurity/Animal Welfare Requirements:The jobsite is a
biosecurity environment which requires showering, changing clothing
and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and
footwear are provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the
jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercing covered by
appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid
any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing
to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal
Welfare Guidelines.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentPhysical:
Must use safe lifting techniques. Must regularly lift and/or move,
up to 50 pounds, such as, rugs, bags of salt, water jugs, etc. May
be required to occasionally move up to 500 pounds, such as wheeled
buggy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to stand majority of shift (concrete floor,
shavings); walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects,
tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance;
climbing/ladder usage; stoop/bend over; talk or hear; drive a
vehicle within the farm complex. Specific vision abilities required
by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision;
peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust
focus. Tools and Equipment: Requires use of hand tools such as box
knives wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, broom, squeegee, shovel,
counter, vaccination gun, stick needle, eye drop bottle, animal tag
pliers; power tools such as cordless/corded drill, gas powered
back-pack blower; equipment such as dump truck, skid-steer,
tractor, trailer with gas-powered sprayer, pallet jack, lawn mower
and weed-eater, catch-frames, scales, tables, scanners, extension
cords, coops; safe operation of vehicle to and from work
area.Environment: Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and in
hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments.Personal Protective
Equipment Required: Safety Glasses, Safety goggles, face shield,
chemical gloves, waterproof apron, rain suit and farm issued
footwear are required. Ear plugs will be used as needed. Chemicals
Commonly Used: Disinfectants such as Synergize, Virocid,
Formaldehyde, Clorox wipes, Lysol, parts cleaner, etc. Safety: TM
is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and
procedures. These include but are not limited to Hazard
Communication, Respiratory Protection, LOTO and Personal Protective
Equipment. TM is expected to identify, address and mitigate safety
related risks. The employee is expected to adhere to all company
policies. Failure to perform this job to above standards could lead
