Position Summary: The production associate preforms a variety of manual or machine assisted, repetive tasks to produce whole turkeys, turkey parts, ready Essential Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Brt Night- Starting Pay Rate $15.90/hr with increase to $17.40/hr in 90 day plus $1.00 shift premium. Shift Start Time 11:00 pm, Production Associates perform various tasks to produce raw, ready-to-cook boneless turkey breast roasts. Essential duties include: c utting and trimming breast meat for roasts; applying seasonings to breast meat for roasts; weighing roasts; packaging roasts with assistance of rotamatic and netting machines; train to proficiency to rotate through jobs and perform multiple tasks within the department perform any job in the department at the supervisor's request. Boxing- Starting Pay Rate $15.90/hr with increase to $17.40/hr in 90 day plus $1.00 shift premium. Shift Start Time 11:00 pm . Boxing Production Associates perform repetitive tasks to box packaged turkeys for shipments to warehouse and customers. Essential duties include: read tags on packaged turkeys and placing them into correct boxes; stack complete boxes of turkeys; train to proficiency to rotate through jobs and perform multiple tasks within the department; perform any job in the department at the supervisor's discretion. Assigned job duties may change and vary day-to-day depending upon production needs. Injection- Starting Pay Rate $15.90/hr with increase to $17.40/hr in 90 day plus $1.00 shift premium. Shift Start Time 11:00 pm, Associate performs tasks to prepare BIBs (bone-in breasts) for further processing as ready-to-cook (RTC) product and whole turkeys for ready-to-eat (RTE) product. Essential duties include: Mix brine solution, weigh turkeys prior to injection, shape turkeys to product specifications, load turkeys onto racks for oven, push racks into ovens, wash empty racks; train to proficiency to rotate through jobs and perform multiple tasks within the department; perform any job in the department at the supervisor's discretion. Assigned job duties may change and vary day-to-day depending upon production needs. Smoke & Bake - Starting Pay Rate $15.90/hr with increase to $17.40/hr in 90 day plus $1.00 shift premium, Shift Start Time 11:00 pm. Smoke & Bake Associates perform tasks to package ready-to-eat (RTE) product. Essential duties include: placing turkeys into bags; sealing bags on sealing machine; weighing, tagging, and netting turkeys in bags; boxing & packaging turkeys; training to proficiency to rotate through jobs and perform multiple tasks within the department; and performing any job in the department at the supervisor's discretion.       • Overtime and weekend work may be required.
      • There is mandatory seasonal work for approximately 5 to 6 weeks during the months of October and November, which includes working 7 days per week.
      • Job assignments are subject to the supervisor's discretion, and job duties may vary day to day, depending on production needs.
      • May work in damp, cold, hot, and warm environments.
