This position is responsible for all matters pertaining to Affirmative Action including overseeing preparation of annual Affirmative Action Plans for assigned locations, conducting analysis of hiring and selection processes and assisting with OFCCP compliance evaluations at scheduled locations. This position also provides oversight of and advising on good faith efforts to recruit, hire, and retain qualified minorities, women, covered veterans, and individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide guidance and support managing compliance risks impacting the organization.
  • Prepare and review AA reports to assure compliance with all Federal contractor obligations and Tyson's AA/EEO policies and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training to Tyson HR staff including Strategic HR Partners, Recruiting and Onboarding teams. Provide support, advice, and counsel on AA/EEO policies and processes.
  • Implement procedures to ensure compliance program is effective in identifying, detecting, and correcting noncompliant issues.
  • Review data and audit hiring and selection processes and procedures.

    Requirements:

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education.

    Experience: 3+ years of Human Resources or Affirmative Action experience.

    Computer Skills: Requires above standard computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point.

    Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to include strong presentation and training skills.

    Special Skills: Knowledge in Human Resources, Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity and Employment Law. Good analytical skills.

    Travel: 12+ domestic trips per year. Amount of travel will vary and be determined by auditing and training requirements.
