Arconic is currently in search of a Scrap Room Attendant to join our BCS Team in Springdale, Arkansas.

Job Duties:

• Maintain flow of extrusion logs, scrap, and information in the plant by:
  
• Unloading log trucks;
  
• Loading log tables;
  
• Retrieving scrap hoppers;
  
• Dumping scrap hoppers;
  
• Running associated reports
  
  
• Perform EHS contacts, pre-job briefs, IFE's, and other HP tools as required to perform job safely;
  
• Perform pre-use inspections and operate mobile equipment (primarily fork lift, sky track, and electric mule);
  
• Must be able to operate all other equipment within the department safely and efficiently;
  
• Willing to cross train at age oven and Presses;
  
• Willing and able to work with other people internally and externally to prevent and/or solve problems;
  
• Use Access databases, JDE for reporting and HMI Entries for Log/Alloy Separation;
  
• Working overtime as required if deemed necessary by management.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • Must have or obtain fork truck, sky track, and electric mule mobile equipment licenses;
    
  • Must have working knowledge of JDE and Access databases.
    
    Physical Demands:
    
    • Able to regularly lift 40 to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, stoop, and bend;
      
    • Ability to obtain mobile equipment operator's license.
