If you have a kind and helping heart for the elderly and disabled adults, come join us for a fulfilling career.POSITION PURPOSE:This position is responsible for the coordination of services between clients and caregivers, for the implementation of filled schedules, adequate staffing and continuity of care to best meet the needs of our clients.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Schedule caregiver staff for hours of service for all open hours/shifts on existing cases and new clients. Provide consistency in caregiver scheduling with a sense of urgency to ensure clients are taken care of.
• Ensure scheduling of caregivers for your assigned clients are filled on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Ensure digital schedules and timely data entry for all clients and caregivers in our scheduling software
• Personally contact clients and caregivers regarding day-to-day scheduling changes if necessary
• Monitor the clock in/clock out logs on a daily basis for our caregivers. Counsel staff regarding tardiness and correct use of the system. Work with supervisor to make the appropriate corrections to the system to facilitate accurate processing of payroll.
  • Communicate and reinforce Visiting Angels' policies and procedures with the daily scheduling
  • Perform general office duties including but not limited to word processing, filing, reception and telephone services.
    • Participate in the 90-day, annual evaluations and performance improvement plans for the caregiver team.
    • Maintain positive relationships with all clients and their families, prospective clients, caregivers, prospective employees, fellow team members and referral sources.
    • Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients and client's families.
    • Demonstrate dependability, accuracy and reliability.
    • Maintain professionalism, provides support and encouragement to the caregiver team.
    • On-call evenings and weekends by rotation with other schedulers with additional pay.
