We're expanding the Lady Slipper team! - Under the direction of General Manager Jeremy DeCarlo and NWA's finest bartenders and servers, we're looking for individuals passionate about hospitality, beverage and top-tier customer service.
The Lady Slipper's Front of House team play an integral role in creating strong rapport and developing memorable experiences for our guests. They are responsible for ensuring their guests are comfortable, making recommendations on menu items, taking and delivering food & beverage orders and providing outstanding service at all times. -Compensation: $5.00 per hour, plus tips. -Benefits/Perks: -

  • Greet your customers and genuinely welcome them to the concept
  • Answer questions related to menu offerings and preparation methods
  • Inform guests of specials and menu changes
  • Maximize revenue potential through the up-selling of menu items
  • Make recommendations you believe your guests will enjoy
  • Ensure all orders are delivered without delay and with the highest quality standards
  • Reset the tables/stations for service throughout the shift
  • Perform opening/closing tasksBartenders
    
    • Responsible for full bar service including wine, beer and cocktails at Rooftop, Undercroft, Preacher's Son, as assigned.
    • Be a first point of contact to handle guest queries by answering questions related to menu offerings and preparation methods.
    • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar including bussing bar top, stocking ice, and keep bar area clean; running glasses through glass washer, and taking out trash as needed.
    • Maximize revenue potential through the up-selling of menu items.
    • Reset the bar for service throughout the shift.
    • Monitor guest feedback and make product/service recommendations to meet guest needs.
    • Perform opening/closing tasks.Support Staff, Barbacks + CrewCompensation: -$5.00 per hour, plus tip out. -
      • Assisting bartenders & servers with taking customer orders and processing orders in the point-of-sale system during peak business hours
      • Stocking bar & front-of-house items such as glassware, straws, toothpicks, napkins, garnishes, ice, towels, and cleaning supplies
      • Supports front-of-house staff by assisting with delivery of food and retrieval of any supplies they may require
      • Maintain a clean and sanitary bussing station, dish area, and expo line
      • Collaborate with front-of-house staff and greeter to ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned and waiting for the next party
      • Monitor tables and assist front-of-house staff in anticipating guest need -Qualifications
        • Server/Bar: -2+ years of front-of-house experience in fast-paced, elevated dining environment
          • Must be 21 years or older
          • Support Staff: 6 months - 1 year of front-of-house experience preferred
          • Available to work evenings nights and/or weekends. -
          • Passion for hospitality and desire to create moments of joy for guests
          • Professional and calm demeanor -under pressure, and treat others with respect
          • Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
          • Must have the ability to handle money and operate a POS system
          • Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask while being detail oriented
          • Must be able to stand for long periods of time; -walks and stands during entire shift
