Job Description
Mercury BSA Qualifications:

• 
  
• 5+ years professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the Insurance Realm
  
• Experience with Underwriting systems supporting Business Owners, Commercial Property, or Business Auto lines of business
  
• Experience with Policy Center on the Guidewire platform
  
• Technical proficiency, with the ability to understand data flows and the flow between complex, integrated systems (experience working with third-party vendors is preferred, but optional)
  
• Proficient in working directly with business users to understand business processes, gather & document requirements, and work closely with the user community to implement system changes that meet business needs.
  
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with remote users via phone, email, Teams, and other virtual collaboration tools.
  
• Experience interpreting and writing Use Cases, Functional Requirements, Screen Specs, and Data Mapping documents
  
• Experience collaborating with Development and QA teams
  
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  
  
  
  Required Skills
  Top 3-5 Requirements: Commercial Insurance AND Policy Center side experience, Must have 5 years! Personal Line Experience Home, Auto, etc. Look for experience in similar clients who work on similar projects They need to work extensively on the Policy Side (not just on the claims side, said our candidate was heavy on claims and not on Policy) They want P&C insurance experience, NOT health and life insurance Resume Expectations: Looks for more of a description of what the projects are about and what they have contributed to the project, not just a list of requirements Doesn't like that candidates that jumped around from project to project. He understands that these are contractor candidates, but he looks for them having longer contract experience a year + Resume companies, projects they worked on Detail on what the projects are about and what they have actually contributed to Integrating with vendor Guidewire third party and different vendor Document generation
