    Responsibilities
    
    
    • Under the direction of the Sterile Processing Supervisor, the Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for the decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments, and the cleaning of patient care equipment. - -
    • Provides excellent customer service. Actively participates in quality and process improvement initiatives. - -
    • Ensures accurate documentation of the sterilization process and actively reports abnormalities to leadership. - -
    • Participates in proper receiving and reprocessing activities related to loaner and consignment sets. - -
    • Under the direction of the department Educator, may serve as preceptor to new staff or OR staff cross training to Sterile Processing.
    • Other duties as assigned.

        • CRCST or CSPDT or CST certificate -
