This is an exciting opportunity to think strategically and drive change within an accounting function. As a Senior Account Analyst, you will develop, recommend, and implement accounting practices to ensure that financial and operating data accurately reflect the condition of the business. You will also identify key data points and translate activity into information and insights to be used for leadership decision making.This role will report into a Senior Manager of Accounting.What Youll Do

  • Maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with GAAP.
  • Perform non-routine financial or operational analyses, used to identify, and communicate emerging trends, leading to determination of risks and opportunities.
  • Establish, and or monitor/review, the execution of significant Accounting processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company established guidelines, while making recommendations for improvement.
  • Research and propose appropriate accounting treatment of non-routine transactions.
  • Create visualizations based on analyses performed on metrics and drivers associated with results.
  • Present findings/status to different levels of leadership.
  • Identify variances to measure of record and provides detailed explanations.
  • Develop business partnerships and alignment, while providing subject matter expertise and consultation within area of focus.
  • Leads and or assists cross functional team to define, assign, monitor and complete project objectives.

      • 5 or more years of experience required in related field (i.e., Accounting, Finance, etc.)
      • 3 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree.
      • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, SAS, etc.
      • Experience in telling a story with data.
      • Experience in process automation.
      • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.Preferred
        • BS/BA in related discipline strongly desired (i.e., Accounting, Finance, etc.)
