Job Description:

Duties: You will be responsible for: (1) Acting as a Lead Data Analytics Analyst, lead engineer, project and team lead, and Data Subject Matter Expert reporting to the head of the IT enterprise data function and office; (2) Designing, developing, and supporting leading edge and innovative descriptive and predictive analytics; (3) Hands-on and leading performance with development languages, databases, machine learning (Microsoft .NET framework, C#, Azure, MS SQL Server, ETL, stored procedures, SSIS, SSRS, IaaS, ODS, EDW, Python, ML, AI); (4) Hands-on and leading processing data from relational data, reports, documents, processes, etc. while supporting legal processes and performing forensic analysis on diverse forms of data; (5) Hands-on and leading the documentation of process and processes used to accomplish tasks and support the process/processes used in analysis in legal, audit, compliance, and regulatory while responsible for source control and data integrity throughout the process; (6) Hands-on and leading the analysis and understanding of numerous data sources and their contextual meaning as needed to support the analysis and selection of the appropriate and accurate data source and process; (7) Hands-on and leading the strategies utilized for transferring substantial amounts of data as well as the decision making process and outcome for which data is to be retained for present day and future data needs using existing data storage solutions; (8) Hands-on and leading integration strategies and continuously remaining hands-on and leading the evaluation of evolving technologies, best practices, technology, tool, and vendor selection, as well as participating in enterprise wide IT initiatives; (9) Project estimating, project prioritization, project planning, project-methodology-technology-tool selection, in a hands-on and project-team-group lead role.
Required:Must have a minimum of 3 years of scope-to-scope match responsibility working as a hands-on data analyst and engineer in an IT department data function/team/department with strong hands-on skills with Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, Azure, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, ODS, working with large amounts of data from various sources.
Must have relevant experience in a hands-on Microsoft application development experience prior or as part of your scope of responsibility with depth in application development best practices, methodologies, etc.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of strong hands-on skill performing predictive analysis using various machine learning tools, techniques, extracting large data from various sources and producing usable data per the organizational or stakeholder need.
Must have skill in understanding legal, forensic, compliance, regulatory, privacy, anonymity aspects and issues and effectively communicating to a wide variety of audiences on each of these areas (verbal, written, documentation, presentations, etc.).
Must have excellent communication (verbal, written, presentations to the executive board level), interpersonal, organization, project analysis/project estimating/project planning skills.
Must have skill and experience in selecting the optimum data strategy, methodology, technology and tools to best use, and technology to be implemented on an ongoing, continuous basis, while also demonstrating sound and skilled critical thinking and cognitive functioning.
Pluses: Banking industry experience. Application development certifications. Python. BS or BA or BBA degree completion.
