SUMMARY: The responsibilities for this position include generating reports for all aspects of our Fresh Meats Production planning business area; accurate and efficient order entry and maintenance for moving product between Plants, Plant Freezers, outside cold storage and Forward Warehouses; and coordinating and interfacing with team member. Other special projects and duties as assigned. Work involves occasional non-routine assignments and requires judgment in the selection of standard procedures from among several that apply to the job. This includes but is not limited to using an array of software programs, organizing work and selecting appropriate methods to complete assigned tasks such as setting priorities evaluating results and coordinating with others; additional responsibilities as assigned. This position requires a great deal of attention to detail and information tracking. The environment is very fast paced and can at times be stressful.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 2 plus years professional experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced office environment.

Computer skills: Basic computer skills with a preference for the Tyson Business Computer Systems an understanding of the system features and how to use these features. The primary systems include the Product Availability PA and Order Processing ORP Systems both with windows and mainframe components and Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in Excel and Outlook.

Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills a clear concise and customer-focused communication style.

Special Skills: Must be proficient with data entry.

Position-Specific Requirements This individual must be willing to cross- train on several other positions within the scheduling department; cover vacations sick leave and work different shift hours.
