We are currently looking for a full-time Customer Service
Representative. In this role you will be responsible for
Continuously improve customer relations through prompt and
efficient service, exercising judgment necessary to maximize
customer satisfaction. Additionally, to be a liaison between
customers, sales personnel, marketing, pricing and plant personnel
regarding processing, follow-up and expediting of all orders from
initial placement to delivery.

Basic Responsibilities
Expedite orders through manufacturing process from order entry to
shipment of finished goods; includes but is not limited to issuing
pull-ups, change orders, deviation requests, inventories, invoices,
deductions and bill-not-shipped authorizations.
Analyze customer requirements and assist sales and manufacturing to
develop and maintain customer specific inventory management
programs; may involve developing and maintaining customer-specific
reports. Assist sales with customer training and orientation, and
as deemed appropriate, join customer visits.
Perform accurate order entry, schedule shipments.
Initiate and document customer complaints, prepare paperwork for
processing returned goods and communicate return procedure to
customer, follow-up with plant and customer to ensure material is
credited, reworked and re-shipped.
Maintain effective customer relations.
Crosstrain within Customer Service to become fully functional on
the desks of fellow colleagues.
Enter orders for all new, repeat and forecast orders received from
sales and/or customers.
Verify, request, and audit customer pricing as needed.
Work with finance group to ensure pricing verification is completed
and in compliance with 52-109 standards.
Verify accuracy of all order details and contact appropriate
individuals with discrepancies.
Verify DRO information with graphics coordinators and/or
systems.
Verify customer inventory to assist in controlling inventory levels
(i.e. delay order if excess inventory on previous order, prompt
customer to enter new order if inventory is low).
Liaise with sales personnel to provide excellent customer
service.
Liaise with plant personnel to facilitate efficient production
schedules.
Liaise with graphics coordinator and customer regarding any
graphics changes.
Receive releases via email, eFax, fax, phone or EDI from customers
and set up releases on the system (regular and forecasted).
Identify orders that are not available or will not ship on time and
inform customer and/or sales.
Track shipments as needed. Revised in October 2021 2
Obtain SPQ from sales, pricing or system and confirm all
information on SPQ is correct, pricing on SPQ matches pricing on
new pricing contracts; assist in keeping SPQs current, based on new
or existing pricing contracts.
Assist corporate credit with accounts receivable issues:
investigate validity of deductions/overpayments upon internal
notification, send appropriate requests for deduction/overpayment
resolution and respond to customer invoicing inquiries.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Comply with all general safety, quality and food safety policies
and procedures within the facility
Be involved in and support safety, quality and food safety
activities that pertains to job scope.
Responsible for reporting all safety, quality and food safety
problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Treat others at all levels with kindness, dignity, and respect.

Working Conditions:
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role
routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones,
photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines as well as various
analytical test equipment. While performing duties of this job, the
employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and
lift up to 50 pounds.
This position may have minimal exposure to hazards such as dust,
high noise levels, solvent fumes, and medium heat.
Position requires flexibility to include overtime.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Professional Background
High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred, or
equivalent company job specific work experience.
Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience
Possess communication skills.
Demonstrated MS Outlook and Excel skills.
Professional Competencies
Knowledge of the company's quality and food safety systems, as well
as contractual quality requirements.
Detail oriented.
Computer literate with a strong knowledge of software such as
Microsoft Office.
Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, dynamic
environment
Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.

Compensation:
The compensation and reference to benefits for this role is listed
on this posting in compliance with applicable law. The selected
candidate's compensation will be determined based on experience and
qualifications. Please note that the compensation and benefits
listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are
hired onto local United States payroll.
The anticipated salary range for this position is between $50,000
to $55,000 per year.
