Job Description:

on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a
radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these
procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Performs duties and

Overview: The MRI Staff Technologist works under the supervision of
the Administrative Supervisor and/or Director, and operates a
magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in
the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies Selects appropriate
imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware;
enters and monitors patient data, transfers images from disk to
PACS. Qualifications: - Experience:1 years of relevant experience
OR graduate of Bachelor degree program - Required Education:High
School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic
Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed
required clinical hours. - Certifications:: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1
Advanced registry (MRI)- working in the area. BLS Basic Life
Support - Other:IV Insertion· Technical skill in medical scanning,
understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements:· Manipulating
equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients.· Continual
standing or walkng. · Adapt to stressful situations.Preferred
